About PolyTranslators
PolyTranslators started with a simple frustration: existing free translators are good for the basics, but they consistently let you down the moment you step outside the top 20 languages. Try translating into Welsh, Amharic, or Old Norse and most tools either refuse or produce something obviously broken.
We wanted to build something better. Something that actually covers the breadth of human language — not just the commercially important ones. That meant modern languages, yes, but also the ones spoken by small communities, the ones preserved by scholars, and the ones that exist only in history books.
What We've Built
PolyTranslators supports 230+ languages powered by Google's Gemini AI. That includes everything from Spanish and Mandarin to Kinyarwanda, Basque, and Sumerian. We've also built 15 creative style translators — Pirate, Yoda, Shakespearean English, and more — because translation doesn't always have to be serious.
For Arabic and Hebrew, we produce output with proper diacritical marks (vowel points), which most translators quietly skip. For ancient languages, we aim for authentic style consistent with historical usage rather than a literal word-for-word substitution.
Our Approach to Accuracy
AI translation is genuinely impressive, but it's not perfect. For widely spoken modern languages, the accuracy is high and the output is natural. For rarer languages and ancient tongues, the results are good approximations — useful for creative projects, learning, and exploration — but we'd always recommend a native speaker review for anything high-stakes.
We're honest about this. We'd rather tell you the truth about what the tool can do than overpromise and leave you embarrassed.
It's Free. Really.
No account. No subscription. No ads in your face. You can translate as much as you want, right now. That's just how it should be.
